Who am I?
|
Just how many of us will answer this immediately by taking a name, an occupation, certain qualities and skills or the name of a relation that we are in with someone.
If our answer is the same as one of the above I am afraid we did not understand the question. The answer to this question is that we are the Self, pure, eternal, peaceful and all perfect Self. The Self does not need anyone to complete it, it is that pure awareness which is omnipresent, limitless and eternally blissful unlike the transient nature of things in the materialistic world, where ‘change is a law of nature’.
Through Self inquiry one can comprehend that we blindly believe in the acquired knowledge given to us by the world which limits us, and makes us feel inadequate. Blinded by selfishness, jealousy, lust, ambition, greed and recognition we fall in the abysses of joy, sorrow, pain, happiness- suffering endlessly in this vicious cycle.
At knowI we believe that the knowledge of the Self is the highest knowledge as it liberates one from the shackles of duality and makes one witness the feeling of oneness with the entire universe.
